Music in Free Fall, Lose 9th Straight
The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.

Anaheim left fielder Jerry Perez had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-8, to Niskayuna at Fighting Knights Field. Perez went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Niskayuna reliever Art Cohen picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Jim Unknown absorbed the loss.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mike Lint in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Unknown to win the game for Niskayuna. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Lint said.

The last-place Music have lost 9 consecutive games.
