Fighting Knights Use Late Rally to Win
The Niskayuna Fighting Knights withstood an impressive performance by Montgomery designated hitter Ben Riffe to defeat the Missions, 14-9, at Missions Grove. Riffe hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Niskayuna is 4th in the Sub League 2 East Division with a record of 44-53.

Niskayuna used the clutch hitting of Kevin Hunt to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Fighting Knights the lead, 12-8. For the game, Hunt had 2 singles and 1 double in 6 at-bats.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Jonathan Anderson.
