Thanks in large part to designated hitter Jorge Gonzales, the Anaheim Music beat the Wichita Panthers, 9-5. Gonzales was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Anaheim pitcher Ryu Masumoto got the win. He's now 6-6. Mark Montgomery was tagged with the loss. The Music win now puts them at 44-49.

In the top of the sixth, Gonzales put his team in front with his 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Juan Soriano, made it 2-0, Anaheim.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Gonzales.
