Super Troopers Get Clutch Win Versus Sikeston
Santa Barbara catcher Christian Weatherspoon had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Sikeston Shamrocks, 7-6, in 12 innings. Santa Barbara reliever Isaiah Timmons snagged the win, upping his record to 3-2. Jorge Rojas shouldered the loss. The Super Troopers lead the Sub League 2 Central Division by 8½ games.

The Super Troopers got a clutch hit from right fielder Peter Meech. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Super Troopers.

"This game was intense," Weatherspoon said, postgame.
