The Newport News Wranglers met little resistance from the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, beating them, 14-2, at Wranglers Stadium. Chris Larsen led the way. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 4 times and drove in 3 for Newport News. Newport News goes to 41-53, Niskayuna to 45-49.
