Shamrocks Beat Wranglers, 10-6
The Sikeston Shamrocks beat the Newport News Wranglers by a score of 10-6. Sikeston right fielder Bryan Agin deserved the lion's share of the credit. Agin was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk for the Shamrocks. Sikeston reliever Miguel Suarez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Yekuno-Amlak Lusalah absorbed the loss. The Shamrocks now have a record of 50-19.

Allen Douglass made an early impact for Sikeston when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came with one out in the top of the second, put the Shamrocks on top, 4-0.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said Sikeston manager William Antczak. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."
