Sunrays Take Down Music, 6-4, in 10
|
Anaheim got a terrific game from catcher Ryan Rosenson. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Ontario, 6-4, in 10 innings. Rosenson went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner was Ontario reliever Justin Tarin, now 2-0. The loser was Jim Unknown. The loss makes Anaheim 35-56.
Jim Unknown delivered a big hit for Ontario. The catcher drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Sunrays ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
"We own our own mistakes," Unknown told a reporter after the game. "But we share our victories."
