McKeone Excels, Santa Barbara Levels Mt. Vernon
The Santa Barbara Super Troopers pinned a convincing loss on the Mt. Vernon Cyclones, 13-3, at Car Ramrod Park. Corey McKeone was a main factor in the win. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for Santa Barbara. The Super Troopers lead the Sub League 2 Central Division by 16 games.

With Santa Barbara leading 4-1 in the bottom of the third, McKeone hit a fastball from Sueo Nakashima for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Super Troopers ahead, 7-1.
