Morales Leads Miners to 8-7 Win Over Shamrocks
Alejandro Morales made an impact in the 8-7 Carson City win over Sikeston. Morales was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The first-place Miners lifted their record to 54-34.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Miners grabbed the lead when Morales hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Mike Cousin made it 8-7, Carson City.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Morales.
