Fighting Knights Earn 6-4 Win Against Shamrocks
Sikeston third baseman Pat Haney was sensational. He went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Niskayuna beat the Shamrocks, 6-4. Art Cohen, credited with the save, is now 5 for 6 in save opportunities. Their 42-47 record puts the Fighting Knights 4th in the Sub League 2 East Division.

Niskayuna took a 4-3 lead on Alex Marquez's 26th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Marquez hit in the top of the tenth, left Sikeston pitcher Justin Allen visibly frustrated.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Fighting Knights," said Marquez.
