Burleson K's 12 En Route to 6-0 Cyclones Win
The Newport News Wranglers had to reckon with Mt. Vernon Cyclones hurler Russ Burleson. Burleson, who is tied for 2nd in the SL2 with a 8.1 K/9 rate, overwhelmed the opposition in the 6-0 Cyclones triumph. The win for the Cyclones raised their record to 48-40.

Burleson, now 4-7, scattered 5 hits over 8 innings for the Cyclones.
