Kurtz Hits 2 home runs in Super Troopers Win
Noah Kurtz impressed in the 7-4 Santa Barbara win over Mt. Vernon. Kurtz was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Picking up the save was 18-year old right-handed pitcher J.J. Mendenhall. The first-place Super Troopers have won 5 straight.

Santa Barbara second baseman Alberto Rivas made an impact. He drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. In the contest, Rivas went 2-4 with a double.
