Marin Hits 2 home runs in Panthers Win
The performance of Kyle Marin proved critical in helping Wichita beat Newport News, 16-9. The Panthers left fielder was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 6. The victory gives Wichita a record of 46-38.

Wichita won the game in part because of Mikkel Goldbaek. The first baseman ripped a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Panthers ahead, 9-1. For the game, Goldbaek had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Goldbaek.
