The Santa Barbara Super Troopers topped the Anaheim Music, 5-4, at Music Grove. Santa Barbara left fielder Eric Propper was a spark plug for the offense. He went 2-5 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Isaiah Timmons got credit for the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. Santa Barbara improves to 52-31 with the win. They lead their division by 6 games.

Propper had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a full count fastball from Jim Unknown, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Super Troopers a 5-4 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Propper.
