Super Troopers Mow Down Missions, 13-0
The Santa Barbara Super Troopers rode a solid performance from 20-year-old starting pitcher Miguel Romero to a win, beating the Montgomery Missions, 13-0, at Car Ramrod Park. Steve Albrecht earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. He upped his record to 6-2. Santa Barbara is now 49-31.

Dave Puskas cracked a home run off Roberto Lopez in the bottom of the seventh. His solo blast put the Super Troopers on top, 1-0. In all, Puskas had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Miguel was in attack mode," said Santa Barbara manager Tyler Haskin.
