Though he had a stellar game, Alex Hall could not prevent his team, the Spring Park Green Knights, from losing, 8-4, to the Anaheim Music. Hall went 4 for 5 with 4 singles. Anaheim reliever Jose Pinedo got the win, raising his record to 4-0. Frank Cabrera was tagged with the loss. The Music win now puts them at 40-40.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 21-year old catcher Ricardo Garcia. Garcia had a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Music ahead, 5-4. For the game, Garcia had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

Anaheim manager Ed Arroyo was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
