Sunrays Stick Fighting Knights with 7-3 Loss
The Ontario Sunrays beat the Niskayuna Fighting Knights by a score of 7-3. Ontario left fielder Daniel Mikel deserved the lion's share of the credit. Mikel was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Sunrays. Edgar de la Mora picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-4. He struck out 4 in 5.1 innings. Tom Koch recorded his 5th save for Ontario.

Ontario took a 7-3 lead on Mikel's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Juan Esquibel in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Ontario to the win.
