Loss Tarnishes Fine Performance by Schnieder
The Wichita Panthers outlasted Kevin Schnieder and the Mt. Vernon Cyclones, 11-10. Schnieder was impressive in the loss. The Mt. Vernon designated hitter hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 2. With the victory, the Panthers upped their record to 28-23.

Bobby Sidener delivered a solo home run for Wichita in the bottom of the eighth. The first baseman went 3 for 4 in the game, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 1.
