The Anaheim Music got a sterling performance from pitcher Ryu Masumoto, but the Sikeston Shamrocks still prevailed, 5-2. Masumoto threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. Mike Cousin picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-2. Miguel Martinez, who is tied for 10th in the SL2 in holds with 4, was tagged with the loss. Jorge Rojas collected save number 6.

Sikeston used the clutch hitting of Bobby Cacho to snag the win. The designated hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Shamrocks ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Cacho.

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Shamrocks.
