Super Troopers Lose to Panthers in Walk-Off
Well, that's how to end a game in style.

The Wichita Panthers turned back the Santa Barbara Super Troopers, 5-4, at Panthers Park. Jamie Zapata, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Alex Arredondo earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 3-2.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Zapata hit a fastball from J.J. Mendenhall for a run-scoring single. The Panthers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
