Savannah second baseman Raul Rodriguez was instrumental in helping the Alpines triumph, 7-4, over the South Pasadena Air Riders. Rodriguez was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Steve Shewmaker was the winner. He's now 7-2. The loser was 18-year old left-handed pitcher Rogelio Camarillo. Eric Hansen got the save, the 1st for him this season.
