In a low-scoring contest, Spring Park pitcher Jesse Wrona was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. The Green Knights raised their record to 28-39.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Green Knights had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the first, when designated hitter Jose Guerrero hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Ramon Rivera and made the score 1-0, Green Knights. Guerrero was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
Wrona said his team "played with focus."
