Gruber Leads Panthers to 14-10 Win Over Missions
The Wichita Panthers topped the Montgomery Missions by a score of 14-10. Leading the way was left fielder Rick Gruber. Gruber went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Panthers. Wichita reliever Antonio Rondon picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Jake Bell absorbed the loss. With the win, Wichita upped its record to 23-21.

Gabriel Romo contributed to the Wichita win with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 5 RBI.
