The Wichita Panthers used an offensive barrage to beat the Spring Park Green Knights, 14-2, at Panthers Park. Mikkel Goldbaek, who is tied for 10th in the SL2 in runs scored with 45, led the way, going 1-for-1 for Wichita. Wichita reliever Juan Soriano picked up the win, raising his record to 4-2. Jesse Wrona was tagged with the loss. Ben Abbate collected save number 1.

With Wichita leading 10-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Goldbaek came up to bat against Spring Park pitcher Zach Spitza. Goldbaek hit a cutter to left for a grand slam home run. His 18th home run of the season put the Panthers on top, 14-2.

"Good pitching and timely hitting is a recipe for success," said Goldbaek.

The Panthers are now 33-30.
