Santa Barbara Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The timely hitting of Eric Propper helped the Santa Barbara Super Troopers down the Carson City Miners, 7-5. Propper was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Super Troopers. Steve Albrecht snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 1.2 innings. He's now 5-2 on the season. Santa Barbara occupies first place in the Sub League 2 Central Division at 42-23.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Propper hit a splitter from Adam Downing for a 2-run home run. The Super Troopers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Propper told the Santa Barbara Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
