Panthers Handle Niskayuna, Snag 10-2 Win
The Wichita Panthers defeated the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, 10-2, at Fighting Knights Field. Wichita right fielder Jim Cook had a superb performance. He went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Edwin Lozano earned the save for Wichita, his 1st. The win for the Panthers raised their record to 20-20.

Leo Gracia, who is tied for 7th in the SL2 in RBI with 35, aided the Wichita cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3 with a walk.

"We maximized our offense today," said Wichita skipper Ross Meister. "That makes everyone's life easier."
