The Anaheim Music, despite a fine performance by Wichita pitcher Hector Mendoza, grabbed a 3-2 win at Music Grove. Mendoza allowed 2 runs over 6 innings. Justice Neveu was the walk-off hero for Anaheim. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Music center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We were in it," said Wichita manager Ross Meister. "We just didn't score enough runs."
