Montgomery first baseman Kevin Rennie had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Newport News Wranglers, 5-4. Montgomery leads the Sub League 2 East Division by 9½ games.

Steve Anderson helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Missions.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Rennie.
