Though he had a stellar game, Mike Sisson could not prevent his team, the Montgomery Missions, from losing, 6-5, to the Anaheim Music. Sisson was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Picking up the win was Edwin Martinez. He went 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits. The left--hander struck out 3 and walked 2. Jose Robles finished to wrap up his 12th save.

Ricardo Garcia came through for Anaheim when he hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a two-strike fastball to center field, staking his team to a 3-2 lead.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Garcia.

The win elevated the Music to 30-27.
