The Sikeston Shamrocks knocked off the Spring Park Green Knights, 7-5, at Ballpark of Spring Park. Jose Yenores hit 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. The Shamrocks saw their record improve to 27-32.
The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Yenores delivered big-time for Sikeston, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Jim Unknown. The game-changing hit put the Shamrocks on top, 6-4.
