The home team was supported by a raucous crowd at Missions Grove.

The Montgomery Missions stopped the Carson City Miners, 9-4, behind an impressive performance from C.J. Bush. The 22-year old third baseman made life miserable for Carson City pitching. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The Missions have a winning streak of 6 games.

Montgomery shortstop Chris Hipkins contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a slider to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 49th hit of the season and put the Missions ahead, 2-0.
