Shamrocks Deal Fighting Knights 6-2 Loss
The Sikeston Shamrocks beat the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, 6-2. Sikeston pitcher and Flint, Michigan, native George Harris led the way. Picking up his 2nd save was 21-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Wimberley. The Shamrocks improved their record to 31-23 with the win over Niskayuna.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for John Billings? The Sikeston first baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Shamrocks on top, 2-1. For the game, Billings had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Niskayuna skipper Jonathan Anderson.
