In 21, Sikeston Sinks Wichita, 1-0
|
Sikeston right-hander Jeremy Reich helped his team edge Wichita by the score of 1-0 in 21 innings. Reich kept the opposing lineup in check. The Shamrocks, now 18-10, have been playing some good baseball.
The Shamrocks got a clutch hit from shortstop Chris Cooper. In the bottom of the 21st, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Shamrocks.
"What we get, we earn," Cooper told the Sikeston Today.
