Paul Marks batted in 3 runs to lead Montgomery to a win over Sikeston. The final score was 9-6. Marks chipped in 1 single and 1 home run. Jerry Carmona picked up the save for Montgomery, his 13th of the year. With the victory, the Missions upped their record to 34-18.

Montgomery used the timely hitting of Steve Anderson to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Missions on top, 8-6. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Montgomery skipper Hoa Nguyen-Dinh.
