The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.
The Anaheim Music beat the Newport News Wranglers, 4-3, in 11 innings. Anaheim pitcher and Maracaibo, Venezuela, native Edwin Martinez led the way. With the win, the Music sit at 27-25.
The decisive blow was delivered by Nate Shifflett in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Seung-kab Kym to win the game for Anaheim. The home crowd went nuts.
"Edwin was throwing with conviction," said Anaheim manager Ed Arroyo.
