Sad Sack Sunrays Lose 6th Straight
|
The Montgomery Missions faced a tough opponent in Ontario pitcher Quentin Dickson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Missions Grove by a final score of 4-3. Dickson went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Montgomery reliever Danny Peralta was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Harrison Tatta took the loss. Montgomery has 3 straight wins, Ontario 6 straight losses.
Edgar Ramos was the walk-off hero for Montgomery. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Missions right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ramos. "And not try to do too much."
