Late Offense Lifts Sikeston to 8-6 Victory
Led by Russ Philip, the Sikeston Shamrocks defeated the Carson City Miners, 8-6. Philip was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Shamrocks. Getting the save was Daniel Hernandez, his 10th. With the victory, the Shamrocks upped their record to 20-11.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Shamrocks grabbed the lead when Philip hit his 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Edgardo Saenz made it 8-5, Sikeston.
