Panthers Win at Home, 7-1
|
The Wichita Panthers defeated the Savannah Alpines by the score of 7-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher George Gericke. Gericke was 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Panthers on the day. Brian Wilson, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 3 innings of relief.
