Perez Helps Mt. Vernon Cruise to 11-3 Win
The Mt. Vernon Cyclones coasted to a win over the Santa Ana Black Aces, 11-3. Hector Perez had a good day at the plate for Mt. Vernon. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 4. The loss has the Black Aces at 1-2.

Edwin Arroyo had a big 3-run home run for the Cyclones in the bottom of the third inning. With Mt. Vernon trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Willie Granados and swatted a home run to left. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cyclones ahead, 4-2.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Santa Ana manager Ryan Allen.
