Sikeston pitcher Mike Reich did his part in helping his team beat the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, 10-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Reich, now 1-2, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Niskayuna, with the loss, is 11-10.

The Shamrocks got a big hit from designated hitter Tim Brooks. Facing Niskayuna pitcher Zaijiro Watanabe in the bottom of the fifth, Brooks pounded a 2-run double to left. His 4th double of the season put the Shamrocks ahead, 5-1.
