The Anaheim Music beat the Savannah Alpines, 8-6, at Music Grove. Chris Ortiz, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2024 draft, starred for Anaheim. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Alpines, now 6-15, continue their slow start.

Ortiz made an early impact for Anaheim when he stroked his 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came in the bottom of the second, put the Music on top, 5-0.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Ortiz, "but we got it done."
