Hedger Lifts Panthers to 10-9 Win
The timely hitting of Mike Hedger helped the Wichita Panthers down the Anaheim Music, 10-9. Hedger went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Panthers. Wichita, now 13-8, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Joe Gilbreath drove in one run for Wichita. The 22-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 8-8 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Phil DiDomenico. It was his 12th RBI of the season.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Hedger said.
