Molohon Hits 2 home runs in Desperados Win
The Medford Desperados trumped the Little Rock Golden Gophers, 9-8, at Ballpark of Medford. Medford left fielder Bill Molohon was terrific. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Marty Matthews earned the win for Medford. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 5-2. The first-place Desperados, at 89-48, lead the Sub League 1 East Division by 15½ games.

With Medford trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Molohon hit a cutter from Dave Anderson for a grand slam home run. It was his 27th home run of the season and put the Desperados ahead, 4-1.

"I still think this team can play even better," Molohon told the Medford Herald.
