Wichita Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Rosas
Wichita got a terrific game from catcher Rafael Rosas. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Sikeston, 9-4. Rosas hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Zach Kyte, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. Wichita is 15-5 after the defeat.

Jose Yenores chipped in for Sikeston, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 5 with a double.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Yenores told the Sikeston Chronicle.
