Super Troopers 12-1 Winners Over Niskayuna
The Santa Barbara Super Troopers beat the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, 12-1, at Car Ramrod Park. Starting pitcher Jae-weong Hyun was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Hyun, the winner, moves to 4-0. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 3 walks. Luis Garcia collected save number 1.

The Super Troopers took the lead, 4-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing Niskayuna hurler Bernie Suarez with two outs, Colin Burke hit a 2-run single.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Burke told the Santa Barbara Observer.

The Super Troopers raised their record to 15-2.
