|
Chris Reese knocked in 4 runs to help Medford beat Newport, 6-2. The Modesto, California native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. The win puts Medford at 88-46 this season.
Milt Sallee aided the Medford cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth. For the game, the center fielder drew 2 walks.
