Mora Propels Mt. Vernon Offense in 13-3 Rout
The Mt. Vernon Cyclones coasted to a win over the Montgomery Missions, 13-3. Jose Mora had a good day at the plate for Mt. Vernon. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The win puts Mt. Vernon at 8-7.

The Cyclones got an important contribution from right fielder Juan Guerra, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a first pitch fastball to right for a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 4-2.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Mora.
