Carson City right fielder Daniel Colglazier played a vital role in his team's 5-4 conquest of Niskayuna. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Carson City. Carson City reliever Adam Downing picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Bill Castro was tagged with the loss. Josh Weakley, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Colglazier had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Bill Castro, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Miners a 2-1 lead. It was the 3rd double of the year for Colglazier.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Colglazier.

To call the performance of the 3-13 Fighting Knights woeful so far is an understatement.
