Shamrocks Topple Fighting Knights with Late Rally
Israel Parez was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Shamrocks Park. In fact, the Sikeston Shamrocks right-hander was instrumental in his team's 2-0 victory over the Niskayuna Fighting Knights. Niskayuna, at 2-10, has had a dismal start to the season.

Matt Duval had a clutch hit in the bottom of the eighth inning. With two men out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Sikeston first baseman hit a run-scoring single. That put the Shamrocks in the lead, 2-0.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Sikeston manager William Antczak.
