Fighting Knights Drop 6-2 Decision
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Montgomery Missions take on the Niskayuna Fighting Knights.

Montgomery pitcher Jeff O'Donovan had a large part in his team subduing the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, 6-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Niskayuna falls to 9-4.

Montgomery left fielder Javy Perez landed a blow when he belted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 1st home run of the season. With it, the Missions took a 3-0 lead.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Montgomery manager Hoa Nguyen-Dinh.
