Both teams had their chances, but the Aurora Paints eventually prevailed.

The Aurora Paints grabbed a win, 11-10, over the Newport Unicorns at Chanticleers Ballpark. Aurora catcher Pedro Morado slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Paints, at 47-80, have now won 4 straight.

With two out in the top of the seventh, Greg Martel had a game-changing hit. The Paints third baseman slammed a run-scoring single off Alex Almanza, making the score 9-7, Aurora.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said Aurora manager Orlando Salinas.
