The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

Thanks in large part to catcher Paul Moberley, the Sikeston Shamrocks beat the Mt. Vernon Cyclones, 6-5. Moberley was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs. The win takes Sikeston to 4-6.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Moberley. Facing Jeff Reade with the bases loaded, the Sikeston catcher had a run-scoring walk. Game over, walk-off style!

"This wasn't a good win," said Moberley. "It was a great win."
