Sunrays Field played host to some high drama.

Ontario beat Montgomery at Sunrays Field, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to first baseman Jerry Tully. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3. The win lifts Ontario to a record of 2-5.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Ontario. That's when Kevin Jones hit a run-scoring double off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Jerry Carmona to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Tully said in his postgame press conference.
